【Main ingredient】Progesterone

【Properties】This product is a colorless to yellowish clear oily liquid.

【Pharmacological action】On the basis of estrogen, progesterone can promote the development of endometrium and glands, inhibit the contraction of uterine muscle, weaken the response of uterine muscle to oxytocin, and play a role of "stillbirth"; Through the feedback mechanism, it can inhibit the secretion of luteinizing hormone in the anterior pituitary, and inhibit estrus and ovulation. In addition, it acts together with estrogen to stimulate the development of mammary gland acini and prepare for lactation.

【Function and use】Sex hormone. It is used to prevent abortion.

【Usage and dosage】Intramuscular injection: once, 5 ~ 10ml for horses and cattle; Sheep and pigs 1.5 ~ 2.5ml; 0.2 ~ 0.5ml for dogs.

【Adverse reaction】No adverse reaction has been found after the prescribed usage and dosage.

【Precautions】

(1) livestock that produce milk for human consumption shall not be used during lactation.

(2) Long term application may prolong pregnancy.
